“Decent hotel.”

“Pool was a murky green and not able to be used. Clearly needed cleaning. Some renovations going on, which are needed. The renovation didn't bother us, but the carpet in the stairs and hallway were old, dirty, and smelled. Our room thankfully didn't have carpet, but the floor was damp and slippery--presumably from humid air condensating on the cold floor. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good.”

“Above average budget stay! Nothing fancy about this Hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. If you are passing through town and looking for a good night's sleep and a good price, this is a very good option. Grab a complimentary coffee and muffin in the morning and continue on your way. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Thanks”

“Great stay at this cozy little house! Perfect for our short one-night stay. Beds were very comfortable. There is only one HVAC unit for the living room, and no doors on the bedrooms to let the air can circulate.”

“Our stay exceeded expectations! In fact it was declared ‘the best vacation ever’ by many. It’s truly a unique property. Telling friends we had rented ‘an island’ was fun & having an entire island to ourselves was fabulous. We had 3 generations with 8 children ages 1-13. My son’s family with the 1 & 3 year olds stayed in the little house. The littles were in bed by 7 but a baby monitor (that they brought) transmitted easily to the main house allowing an evening of fun with no worry about noise!……

“Check in was easy. Person running the VRBO very kind and responsive. There was a year round camper at the pool that screamed and cursed at our 10 year old for being on the rope. It was a huge overreaction and surely didn’t match the offense. Another lady tried to smooth it over but it was too late. It ruined the entire families night. The rule board says nothing about the rope. He was nasty and loud. Also tried to call out another family member and cause a fight to which we……

“We book the house in April. The house needs a deep cleaning. Especially the Kitchen. The evenings were cool and there were not enough extra blankets. The comforters are for summer weather. The water smelled and was really rusty. Unpon arrival the water in the kitchen sink dribbled out of the faucet and no water came out of the downstairs faucet. Contacted owner and he promply sent someone to look at the problem. The faucet screens were clogged and never really worked well after the service……
